2022 Call for Nominations – USAA-AZ Board Elections

It is that time of year when we elect members for the state association Board of Directors. This year we have two positions that will be open. President Kristy Wapniarski and Vice President Arvid Veidmark III will complete their current terms on September 30, 2022. Both officers have the option to run again.

What does serving on the Board look like?

Board members are actively involved in overseeing the organization’s activities. This means meeting periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization, including items like:
– State championships
– Maintaining needed equipment
– State records
– Communicating with membership
– Sate website and social media
– Financial management and reporting
– Grow and support target archery through clubs, membership, and events
– Fundraising – ARIZONA CUP!

Those interested in running need to be at least 21 years old, have a current USA Archery membership with Arizona listed as their state of residence, maintain current background screening and Safesport certification and be available to fulfill the time obligation of serving on the Board. This includes attending meetings, replying to emails, and actively participating in Arizona Cup activities.

All interested parties may submit a self nomination form to be included in the elections that will be held the first week of September. Please click the button below for the nomination form and email it to the Secretary by August 30, 2022.
