2024 Board of Director Nominations

Last Call for Nominations! Have you ever wanted the opportunity to serve the sport you love in a productive way and contribute to making a positive difference for archery in the state of Arizona?

NOW is your opportunity.  If you want to serve on the USA Archery Arizona Board of Directors, please submit your nomination form by August 30th.  Voting will occur from September 2nd – 11th, and the board will be announced after the ballots have been tallied.

Additional Details About Serving
This year, we have three open positions. Treasurer Bud Lord and Members at Large, Diana LaBeau and Ryan Nielsen, will complete their current terms on September 30, 2024. All officers have the option to run again.

What does serving on the Board look like?

Board members are actively involved in overseeing the organization’s activities. This means meeting periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization, including items like:
– State championships
– Maintaining needed equipment
– State records
– Communicating with membership
– State website and social media
– Financial management and reporting
– Grow and support target archery through clubs, membership, and events
– Fundraising – ARIZONA CUP!

Those interested in running need to be at least 21 years old, have a current USA Archery membership with Arizona listed as their state of residence, maintain current background screening and Safesport certification, and be available to fulfill the time obligation of serving on the Board. This includes attending meetings, replying to emails, and actively participating in Arizona Cup activities.
