DESCRIPTION:We are hosting this Star event over two days. Saturday August 23 you will shoot 72 arrows and then Sunday August 24 you will shoot another 72 arrows for a two day total of 144 arrows.  \n\n\n\nYou may choose to shoot just one day either Saturday or Sunday\, you choose what works the best for you.  \n\n\n\nWe will be shooting at the Naranja Park Archery Range located in Naranja Park in Oro Vallery Arizona. Street address is 660 W. Naranja Drive. \n\n\n\nAwards will be given out to the top three finishers of the two day and one day shoots\, one day tournament participants will receive their awards via mail if they are not present on Sunday afternoon. \n\n\n\nThis year we are celebrating 36 years of Desert Destroyers JOAD. We will have several raffles during the weekend\, come out and support Desert Destroyers JOAD.

A 2025 USA Archery Arizona State Master Champion will be awarded based on their 72 arrow qualification score on Saturday. All Masters will then be included in the elimination match under the Master 50+ designation for Sunday.

SUMMARY:2025 USA Archery AZ State Field Championships
DESCRIPTION:2025 ARIZONA STATE FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS \n\n\n\nThe Arizona State Field Championships are open to everyone and anyone that would like to shoot in a quality sanctioned event. Only members of USA Archery Arizona and member JOAD Clubs are eligible to shoot for the state championship titles. Guests\, defined as Non USA Archery Arizona members\, may shoot in the guest division\, no awards are available. Guests must still possess the proper USA Archery membership.  More info here. \n\n\n\nThe tournament will be held at the Naranja Park Archery Range walking courses\, 660 West Naranja Drive\, Oro Valley\, AZ. Located in the Town of Oro Valley with the beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as the back drop\, Naranja Park Archery Range’s  East and West walking courses will be the field of play in the amazing Sonoran Desert. Good shoes or boots are recommended for the trails in certain locations are steep. \n\n\n\nThere will be 24 targets shot on Saturday November 15. There will be 24 marked targets (known distances) shot\, on both  the East walking course and the West walking course. The tournament will start on the East walking course first. Three arrows will be shot at each target for a total of 72 arrows. \n\n\n\nArcher check-in will be at 7:00am on Saturday. Practice opens at 7:00am\, an Archer meeting will be held at 8:45am\, shooting to follow at 9:30 am. Awards to follow on Saturday after all of the score cards are turned in and scores verified. \n\n\n\nWorld Archery does not recognize Cub and Bowman divisions. Therefore\, in this tournament\, Recurve\, Compound\, Fixed Pin\, Archers in the U-15\, U-13 divisions will shoot from the U18 stake which is the blue stake. Barebow Archers in the U-15\, U-13 divisions will shoot from the U-18 stake which is the yellow stake.  More information on distances can be found in the World Archery Rulebook\, Book 2 Chapter 8.

DESCRIPTION:The University of Arizona Wildcat Archery team is proud to host the 2026 Arizona State Collegiate Outdoor Championships.
