DESCRIPTION:2025 USA Archery Arizona State JOAD Indoor Championship \n\n\n\nFebruary 22-23\, 2025 \n\n\n\nBen Avery Shooting Facility \n\n\n\nIndoor Archery Range \n\n\n\n4044 W Black Canyon Hwy-W Biscuit Flat Drive \n\n\n\nPhoenix\, AZ  85086 \n\n\n\nHost Contact – Arizona Archery Club\, AACJoad@gmail.com or 281-731-7319 (Bud Lord) \n\n\n\nArchers must be members of USA Archery to participate. Become a member here \n\n\n\nTemporary membership is available for $20 for non-members interested in participating. \n\n\n\nGuests are eligible to participate\, but only members with Arizona as their identified state affiliation are eligible for state championship titles\, state records\, and awards. \n\n\n\nEntry Fee:  $45.00 \n\n\n\nFormat:  Single 600 Indoor Round\,  20 Ends of 3 arrows\, 2 Minute Ends  at 18 Meters \n\n\n\nRecurve/Barebow  \n\n\n\n\nU21 and U18 – 40cm target face (choice of single-spot or triangle 3-spot face)\, outer 10-ring scoring.\n\n\n\nU15 and U13 – 60cm target face; outer 10 ring scoring.\n\n\n\n\nCompound \n\n\n\n\nAll age classes – 40cm target face (choice of single-spot or triangle 3-spot face)\, inner 10-ring scoring.\n\n\n\n\nFixed Pins \n\n\n\n\nAll age classes – 40cm RECURVE target face (choice of single-spot or triangle 3-spot face)\, outer 10-ring scoring.\n\n\n\n\nGenesis/Basic Compound Bow \n\n\n\n\nU21 and U18 – 40cm target face (choice of single-spot or triangle 3-spot face)\, outer 10-ring scoring.\n\n\n\nU15 and U13 – 60cm target face; outer 10 ring scoring.\n\n\n\n\nArrow Requirements (World Archery\, Book 3): \n\n\n\n11.1.7. Arrows of any type may be used provided they comply with the common meaning of the word “arrow” as used in target archery\, and do not cause undue damage to target faces or butts. \n\n\n\n11.1.7.1. An arrow consists of a shaft with a tip (point)\, nocks\, fletching and\, if desired\, cresting. The maximum diameter of arrow shafts shall not exceed 9.3mm (arrow wraps shall not be considered as part of this limitation as long they do not extend further than 22cm toward the point of the arrow when measured from the throat – nock hole where the string sits – of the nock to the end of the wrap); the tips (points) for these arrows may have a maximum diameter of 9.4mm. All arrows of every athlete shall be marked with the athlete’s name or initials on the shaft. All arrows used in any end shall be identical and shall carry the same pattern and colour(s) of fletching\, nocks and cresting\, if any. Tracer nocks (electrically/electronically lighted arrow nocks) are not allowed. \n\n\n\nDIVISION EQUIPMENT RULES  \n\n\n\nCompound Bow:  Per World Archery Rules  11.2 & 11.3 \n\n\n\nRecurve Bow:  Per World Archery Rules  11.1 & 11.3 \n\n\n\nBarebow:  Per World Archery Rules  11.4 & 11.3 \n\n\n\nFixed Pin:  Per USA Archery Fixed Pin   U13\, U15\, U18\, U21 \n\n\n\nGenesis/Basic Compound Bow: Per USA Archery Basic Compound  U13\, U15\, U18\, U21 \n\n\n\nAge Class \n\n\n\nU13:  Through the year of their 12th birthday \n\n\n\nU15:  Through the year of their 14th birthday \n\n\n\nU18: Through the year of their 17th birthday \n\n\n\nU21: Through the year of their 20th birthday \n\n\n\nDress Code:  USA Archery Dress Code will be enforced \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nQuestions on How to Score?   watch an excellent video here \n\n\n\nLive Scoring will be available here on BetweenEnds.com \n\n\n\nVenue Seating: \n\n\n\nArchers will have a dedicated seating area with chairs provided.  Only participating archers and credentialed officials will be allowed in this area. \n\n\n\nCoaches (Level 2 and higher) will be supplied with benches to sit on just behind archers.  Please pre-register for coach credentials HERE. \n\n\n\nSpectators will sit in a designated area behind the coaches and must bring their own chairs. \n\n\n\nConcessions:There will be light concessions available for all attendees.
